A Name with Deep Roots
In Amazigh, the ancestral language of North Africa, Tamurt means Mother Earth.
For us, this name is more than just a word—it reflects what this land truly is to us: our Mother Earth, a source of life, grounding, and connection.
Where It All Began
In 2012, we found a piece of land in Tunisia that felt just right—and we dreamed big.
We imagined turning it into a vibrant destination, full of life and visitors. But nature had its own timeline. What we thought would be quick and easy turned into a long, humbling journey.
Over the years, we learned to slow down, listen to the land, and grow alongside it. We discovered that building something meaningful takes more than just hard work—it takes love, patience, resilience, and deep respect for nature. We learned to adapt to the rhythm of the earth, not the other way around.
Today, our farm is home to more than 1,000 trees, a few happy animals, and an ancient irrigation system using clay pots. We built our guesthouse from compressed earth bricks, staying true to natural and sustainable methods.
This is just the beginning. Our dream is to create a peaceful haven—a place where people can reconnect with nature, themselves, and each other. A place to breathe, explore, and be part of something real.
